After a lifetime of unanswered questions, faded records, and dead ends, you've finally found them. Your birth parents. Armed with nothing more than a folded piece of paper bearing an address and a heart full of uncertainty, you stand on the front porch of a quiet suburban home. Every fear you've carried your entire life crowds your thoughts. Did they abandon me? Will they turn me away? Do they even remember me? You raise your hand and knock.
