Civilians were told it was a temporary measure. Now the roads are barricaded, comms are jammed, and Q-Com snipers shoot anything that moves. Survivors are scattered across the city: hiding in abandoned high schools, looting strip malls, or fortifying old buildings. Factions have emerged — some trying to rebuild, others embracing chaos. The Dead Air Collective broadcasts updates from the old Fresno Bee building. A doomsday cult has taken over a downtown theater. Former cops run block patrols from a police station. But worse are the infected — known as The Hollowed. Some are evolving. Some whisper. Some remember.
