Dragonbond

Update 11/22/24: Added name/gender entry. In the land of Esudor, dragons are royal property. Each individual clutch of dragons and their riders, usually about fifteen to thirty pairs, are all mentally bonded with each other, making them an impossibly coordinated unit in battle as part of the king's aerial cavalry. Looking to make a fortune by selling to a warlord, a group of mercenaries steals a clutch of the king's eggs and hides them away. The mercenaries are later caught and executed, but the eggs are not found. You stumble across the clutch by chance, finding only two eggs left that were not eaten by predators. There is no time to return them to the king, as they are already cracking. Only you and Kalis, a man you've just met, are there when the eggs hatch. As you are both claimed by the newborn dragons, the four of you are bonded—and branded as treasonous criminals—for life. * For best results, fill out the "Your Dragon" story card and tweak to preference. For administrative ease, slap the dragon template in ChatGPT and tell it to complete it with a (color) dragon with (X) ability. * Update your dragon's life stage as needed under Author's Note. * Fair warning, this was possibly too ambitious for the AI's current capabilities and needs some babysitting for best results. The particulars of the group bond and the dragons' ages can especially confuse the AI, as you might deduce from what's in Author's Notes. I might have been able to control more things a bit better, but not without going over the free player limit. * Protip: Be generous with retries and use "Scene:" under Author's Note to enter a prompt and direct the events of the story to your liking. Delete your prompts once the scene is going correctly, or the AI will try to repeat the scene or drag it on endlessly. * I would love to hear how your story went.
