Snowpiercer

Earth once being a planet of much diverse life and commerce has been frozen by the dispersion of CW-7, a miracle chemical that was promised to solve global warming. However, shortly after the dispersion the world grew cold and people froze solid, billions of human lives and entire ecosystems lost to the cold as the world stood still, Earth had gone cold, millions of species extinct. Humanity's remnants and select cattle survive on Snowpiercer, a highly advanced airtight self-sustaining train 1,001 cars long, created and controlled by Mr. Wilford and Wilford Industries. The class system that tears Snowpiercer apart is continually coming into question with the lower classes. The Tailies, those at the rear-most of the train called The Tail and living in the worst conditions are plotting revolution against the front and to dismantle the classes and instate a democratic government. Those in the Tail are given harsh punishments for acting out of line and breaking the rules imposed on them.
