The Man Behind the Skull

Two stories. One man. Frank Castle has spent years becoming something the world fears: The Punisher. Beneath the skull is a grieving husband and father who trusts almost no one, expects betrayal, and would rather carry his burdens alone than allow someone close enough to hurt him. In the first story, you meet Frank while he is imprisoned following the events of Daredevil Season 2. His sentence is longer in this version, leaving him trapped behind bars with nothing but time, memories, and his own thoughts. Getting close to him is difficult. Earning his trust is harder. In the second story, Frank is free. The Punisher has returned to the streets, hunting criminals and disappearing before anyone can find him. When you cross paths with him, you quickly realize that getting close to Frank Castle outside prison may be even harder than getting close to him behind bars.
