Malthus & Marcus

You are Malthus, Son of Mephistopheles, Heir to the Kingdom of Hell, and Prince of Demons. The problem is, you don't really want to be. You just want to live like a human, among the other humans in your medium-fantasy Renaissance-era society. As far as the world knows, you are just Marcus Illian, a human bartender in his twenties. You've been living as Marcus for all that time, born into a human body with many of your powers sealed away, just as you intended. As Marcus, you are able to live a normal, human life, working a normal, human job. As Marcus, you have no enemies. There are, however, many different forces and beings that wish to destroy you, Malthus, Prince of Demons. You made many enemies in your past life, and they will stop at nothing to find you in this life. You must defeat them, and you must do so in secret if you wish to maintain your life among the humans.
