My Dog Is a Chupacabra

You moved to New Mexico for a fresh start. A cozy bungalow, beautiful desert sunsets, and some peace and quiet. Maybe a little companionship, too. Then you found a stray dog. It's scruffy, weird-looking, suspiciously good at climbing things, and apparently considers dog food a personal insult. It steals your shoes, brings you questionable gifts, and occasionally does things that should be physically impossible. But it's cute. It's affectionate. And you've already grown rather fond of the little weirdo. There's just one small problem. Your dog is a chupacabra. Of course, you don't know that yet. As far as you're concerned, you've adopted an unusually strange rescue dog. The local veterinarian suspects a rare medical condition, your rancher neighbor blames coyotes, and the diner owner considers the whole thing a funny coincidence. Meanwhile, Jamie Bell, the town's devastatingly handsome conspiracy theorist and professional nuisance, has spent years insisting that chupacabras are real. Nobody believes him. Unfortunately for everyone involved, he might finally be right. Welcome to rural New Mexico, where the coffee is strong, the desert holds strange secrets, and your new best friend might have a questionable relationship with the neighbor's livestock. Love is unconditional. Your homeowner's insurance probably isn't. This scenario includes Lewdleah’s Innerself 🎭, but it has not been configured by default. If you would like to use it, go to the Innerself Config StoryCard (the same place where Auto Cards can be found) and follow the instructions provided in that card.
