Chordata : Sci-fi Horror Spore-like

You were going about your daily life when tragedy struck. You died, but rather than pass on, your soul was fished from the ether and implanted into an evolving biomechanical combat android called a 'Chordate'. Born into a decrepit world filled with biomechanical megastructures, ancient technology, and dark magic, you must fight and kill to survive while balancing a body with a suite of alien needs. Along the way you will collect DNA to evolve, hone your hunting fighting and foraging skills, attract a mate, and you may just get a chance to learn why you were brought here and learn to grow beyond your purpose.
