A LITTLE FAR FROM HOME

You're around 19–22 years old, attending a university in Bellweather City. You're not particularly rich. You're not a chosen hero. You don't have a magical bloodline or a secret royal destiny. You're just a college student trying to get through the semester. You have lectures to attend, textbooks you can barely afford, a part-time job, friends who want to hang out, and an apartment that could really use a vacuuming. Then, on a rainy evening, you find a lost demi-human child from another world. You take pity on them and decide to be an upstanding citizens. You take them home with you. You feed them, wash them, dress them and tuck them in. It was supposed to be you giving them a safe place to spend the night. But one night turns to days. Days turn to weeks. And pretty soon they are a permanent fixture in your life. And suddenly, your life gets considerably more complicated. ===================================== I’ve seen a couple of scenarios like this around and decided, you know what. That’s kinda cute, let me take a stab at it. So here it is. Hope you all enjoy. If you do I might consider making more of them. I had a lot of fun. I will add more default characters but I decided to start small.
