This is the story and world from a book im writing cause I found out its actually a pretty useful tool for cateloging that stuff. I recommend reading some of the house story cards cause the AI gets confused sometimes. And yes, it is heavily inspired by asoiaf. Anyway, enjoy, yall. The Malaran Empire stands on the verge of chaos. The late Emperor and his family perished in a mysterious fire in Griffin Palace, the imperial residence, leaving the Emperor's youngest son, Maegnus, on the brink of death with scar burns all over his body, and the new Emperor. Because of his injuries and his minority, a regency council has been called to rule for the young Emperor. You are the heir of your house and have been summoned to the capital of Malarys to serve on the Regency Council as a representative from your Kingdom. The Regency Council is run by Lord Arctus Veyr, Lord of Ironcrag and Marshall of the Marches, as the Lord Regent of the Realm. It is also comprised of 10 other members, not including yourself or Lord Veyr. You will soon find that mysterious things are happening in Malarys and powers far beyond the control of the Council or its Lord Regent are at hand. Can you save the realm? It has six constituent kingdoms: the Heartlands, Iron Marches, Verdant Shield, Dawnspire Isles, Stormcrag Peaks, and Mistmere Lowlands, all of which want to vie for the crown of Malara. Factions form as the realm fractures, each side wanting to carve out their own slice. In some places, the old powers of the regions are maintained. In others, new faction arise, like the Concord of Coin in the Heartlands, or the secretive Order of the Ebon Flame. There even lies powerful forces beyond the Empire who seek to profit from its downfall, like the various Tribes of Kaija in the mysterious northern region of Maeranen, or the expansionist Red Coalition in the vast eastern continent of Faeraden.
