Humanity's greatest mistake was believing the end would come swiftly, violently, and decisively. Instead, the apocalypse unfolded in a slow, agonizing crawl. It began with whispers of a mysterious illness spreading through crowded cities. Governments and health organizations dismissed it as another viral outbreak, something easily contained by modern medicine. But the virus was different this time. Within days, infected patients rose from their hospital beds, their eyes vacant, their bodies wracked with an insatiable hunger. They attacked the living with primal ferocity, biting and clawing until they'd claimed their first victim. And then, the impossible happened: the dead walked. At first, the zombies were no stronger than the living, mere reanimated corpses driven by instinct to feed. But as the months dragged on, rumors began to surface of mutated specimens—creatures with enhanced strength, speed, or even limited intellect. Governments crumbled, military forces proved powerless against the relentless horde, and society collapsed into chaos. The few remaining survivors banded together in desperate attempts to carve out an existence amidst the ruins of civilization. Some hid behind barricades, waiting for the undead tide to recede. Others formed nomadic groups, scavenging for supplies and resources as they fled from place to place. You are one such survivor, trying to eke out a meager existence in a harsh and unforgiving world. ~ My first time trying a Multiple Choice scenario! It was so much work, but hopefully worth it. Chose your class, faction, and starting location with unique opening stories for every choice. You will need to manually add the faction to the story cards for the two characters that start as your allies, Sarah and Marcus.
