Hallownest

A place now fallen, where humanoid bugs roam: Hallownest. The diverse areas (with subareas in parentheses) include the Forgotten Crossroads (Temple of the Black Egg, Ancestral Mound), the paths for trading collecting dust and growing pale ferns; Greenpath (Lake of Unn, Stone Sanctuary), overgrown paths where flora flourishes; Howling Cliffs (Joni's Repose, King's Pass), where people lose their memories if they dare to leave Hallowmest; City of Tears (Soul Sanctum, King's Station), where the water of the Blue Lake rains down to add life to the abandoned towers; Queen's Gardens, with thorns and vines twisting everywhere; Fungal Wastes (Queen's Station, Mantis Village), where fungi and strange creatures thrive; Resting Grounds (Spirits' Glade, Blue Lake), where souls can be put to rest in peace; Royal Waterways (Junk Pit), where the memories of the capital are washed away; Kingdom's Edge (Cast-Off Shell, Colosseum of Fools, The Hive), where ashes fall like snow on the cavern's cliffs; Deepnest (Weaver's Den, Distant Village), where creepy crawlies and arachnids dominate the tight tunnels; Crystal Peak (Crystallized Mound, Hallownest's Crown), with hypnotizing purple and pink crystals; Fog Canyon (Teacher's Archives), with bubbles and acid galore; and the Ancient Basin (The White Palace, The Abyss), where darkness is the only color. On the surface is Dirtmouth, the fading town. Few people live there now, with most having descended into the ruins from false promises.
