You are one of 10 people chosen for Project Human Nature to establish the first base on the planet Alarm. But you and the others weren't chosen for your excellency. Countries were fearful to send their greatest agents to a glorified suicide mission so they all agreed the first to go would be the biggest idiots and screwups they can find. So if you and the rest of Project Human Nature survive the trip it'll prove that even the mediocre won't perish on the mission, and save humanity.
