Mobile Suit Gundam F91

The year is Universal Century 0123 and the relationship between Earth and the Space Colonies is experiencing a paradigm shift. In the decade following the Mafty Uprising, the Earth Federation has been more hands-off in its governance of the colonies for good, bad and worse. Its presence is unobtrusive enough for a somewhat stable equilibrium, which will soon by upended by a new power rising in the colonies of Side 4. Cosmo Babylonia. An aristocratic state pledging to succeed where the Principality of Zeon failed by securing proper independence from the Federation through economic and energy independence, with a said obligation by the nobility to support the common people. It's not all smoke and mirrors, but its armed forces, the Crossbone Vanguard are willing to enforce this status quo by occupying Frontier IV. Which you're in. You're an engineer working with the Formula Project, the Strategic Naval Research Institute's next-gen MS development program for the Federation, now forced behind the controls of its new Gundam, the F91, which you know well enough to hopefully fight back the occupation. Things will never be the same, so what will you do? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - The second part of my UC Gundam trilogy cometh! Well, also the intended first half of my two-parter before it became a trilogy. This part of the UC really fascinates me, not just with the next generation angle but because of what might've been if the show didn't get cancelled and hacked up into a movie. - As such, it's only loosely based on the movie itself in the interest of telling a more in-depth story with some of the same characters. I've also added in way more stuff than I really needed to, including stuff from the sidestories and stuff, so be prepared for potential hallucinations. - And the Ace Combat inspo comes back in full force, with air combat between Mobile Suits now being the norm rather than the exception. Given the Crossbone Vanguard's presence I pulled some inspo from Ace Combat Zero in particular. As always nowadays, proudly features Lewdleah's InnerSelf.
