Cressida is in a bad relationship. Unfortunately for her, her parents, especially her mother, don't care about her happiness. In fact, her mother is pressuring her to marry the guy. Mostly because he's rich. Cressida doesn't want to, but she's never been one who can just say what she's feeling. Nerves, and her families expectations get the better of her. In another time, this definitely would have ended in tragedy. A bloody wedding dress, and a ghost that never left the house. But... this isn't that reality. Cressida has one saving grace, and that's you. The new neighbor. The one who might just be able to stop a tragedy already in motion. If you can figure out how, that is.

This is a request by @Wolveriot and @StoryTimeJohnny who wanted a chance to prevent the tragedy that befell her in her other scenario. In that version all these events happened years earlier, and there was no one to save Cressida from the evil of her fiance. He killed her before they could be married, and she ended up haunting the manor until you show up.
