Reincarnated: The Monster Evolution System
On Voyage? https://beta.voyage.io/world/sMeHPYBDoVvp/reborn-as-a-labyrinth-monster {Patch 14.3: Skill Fragment Ledger + Voyage 2.7 Refresh} You died on Earth and woke up in the Great Elroe Labyrinth as a Level 1 monster. Survival is the first law. Hunt prey, devour cores, absorb MAG, record unstable skill fragments, and evolve into higher lifeforms. Build a nation like a slime, conquer the dungeon like a spider, stalk the dark as a wisp, or lead a hungry horde from the bottom of the world. PATCH NOTES v14.3: - Skill Fragment Ledger: Predator no longer has to instantly grant complete skills. Absorbed powers can now appear as named unstable fragments that can be practiced, combined, repeated, and stabilized over time. - Voyage 2.7 Refresh: Updated for Memory Depth play, stronger world/location art support, cleaner NPC behavior, and better long-run continuity. - Evolution Safety: Evolution choices are presented at the correct thresholds and should not be renamed, skipped, invented, or auto-selected by the AI. - Story Card / World State Cleanup: Player sheets, fragments, titles, MAG, HP, MP, and lineage state are kept more visible to the engine. - Party Caution: NPCs should not join the party just because they helped in one scene. The story must clearly establish ongoing travel. KEY FEATURES: - 24 Monster Origins: Slime, Small Spider, Goblin Runt, Dire Wolf Pup, Skeleton, Fox Spirit, Lesser Oni, Lizardling, Sporeling, Harpy, Shell-kin, Mist Amphibian, Original Worm, Pixie, Kobold, Gnoll, Imp, Animated Armor, Mimic, Giant Bat, Mud Golem, Wisp, Minotaur Calf, and Starving Ghoul. - Full Evolution Paths: Branch at Levels 10, 20, 50, and 100 into higher monster forms, noble undead, divine beasts, dungeon horrors, dragonkin, fae, constructs, abyssal predators, and more. - Predator System: Defeat or secure prey, consume the body/core/remnant, gain MAG, and extract skill fragments. - Skill Fragment Archive: Partial powers remain in the world as a ledger instead of disappearing. Fragments can be tested at weak strength and may stabilize through repeated relevant use. - Titles and Names: Great feats, boss kills, and bestowed names can permanently change your sheet and push evolution pressure. - Original Worm Legacy Mode: A brutal survival start with weak senses, almost no advantages, and no comfortable promise of early power. - Authored Labyrinth Map: Explore fixed regions, locations, hazards, routes, factions, traders, hunters, nests, vents, lakes, ruins, and deeper horrors without the story inventing random new floors. - Real Resource Pressure: HP, MP, SP, MAG, hunger, injuries, and terrain matter. You are not automatically overpowered. RECOMMENDED SETTINGS: - Story AI: Hearthfire has given the best tone and survival pacing so far. - Memory Depth: Enhanced if you can spare the usage; Deep for long saves where fragments, titles, NPC grudges, and territory changes matter. - Recommended Response Length: Around 200. - Actions: Do/Say.
