Someone is thinking about you. You know because you can hear them. For as long as you can remember, or perhaps only since yesterday, you've possessed an unusual psychic ability: whenever someone thinks about you, you involuntarily hear their internal monologue. Their private thoughts slip into your mind without warning, whether they're standing beside you or somewhere far away. Affection, resentment, curiosity, jealousy, longing, suspicion. Some thoughts are fleeting. Others are relentless. And not every voice belongs to someone you recognize. You cannot choose whose thoughts you hear, when they arrive, or what they reveal. What you do with that knowledge, however, is entirely up to you.
