Dragon of the Desert
Dragons. Mere fantasy, or perhaps... not? Picture this: you awaken in a vast, desolate desert, with no memory of who you are. The wind howls around you, carrying with it the unsettling whispers of the undead. Then, through the haze of sand and shadows, emerges a colossal figure—the Dragon of the Desert. This ancient, majestic beast offers a tantalizing proposition to those lost in life: the chance to achieve unlimited wealth and power. But there's a catch. To claim these rewards, you must survive one of the dragon's abyssal challenges. Do you have what it takes to succeed? For those acquainted with my work, you know I typically steer clear of dark tragedies and horror scenarios. Yet, in crafting this adventure, I ventured into unfamiliar territory. While I wouldn't label it as pure horror or profound tragedy, there's a haunting intensity that permeates this tale, and I am proud of the result. As I delved into the creation of this scenario, memories of my very first scripted adventure, "Own a Dragon Farm," flooded back. Debugging that script required relentless perseverance, demanding consistent character and dragon names across countless playtests. Thus, the name Testasto (derived from 'test') was born. Throughout those trials, I couldn't help but envision my first dragon from "Own a Dragon Farm", and Recognize him soaring through the Sky. This nostalgic reverie inspired me to hide an easter egg within this new scenario. But do not try to reveal the easter egg by reading the adventure setup. It is hidden within the script itself and remains completely concealed unless activated during gameplay. I'm eager to see how many of you can discover it. If you do, share your triumph in the comments. And if you need a hint, maybe... just maybe, the answer lies in reading the description again. Good luck, dear player! (By the way, an indication for revealing the easter egg is when a new story card is added).
