Thunder rattles the house as a devoted parent goes through the familiar bedtime ritual with their daughter. A mysterious knock, failing lights, and a frightened cry pull them back upstairs—straight into a nightmare where the line between protector and prey blurs in the shadows of her room. This is a twist of some old stories that always gave me the goosebumps with a little something extra for those who like to keep playing until the chills give way to awe.
