Grimdark Reckoning

On a galaxy torn in half and on eternal war, you exist. On a world that just started to know it, they exist. I had no plan of publishing it but 2 moments made me decide to do it. 1st was my first play as a Custodes. My 8 brothers and 2 sisters of silence painted the initial battle red in the most badass way possible. 2nd was this moment: "...A hundred lasguns snapped up. A hundred brilliant, red-hot beams of coherent light lanced across the distance. There was no arc, no whistle of arrows. Just a searing, instantaneous line of death. The elven archers, their magical shields designed to deflect physical projectiles and disperse elemental energies, were utterly unprepared for the focused, technologically wrought fury of the Imperial Guard. The first volley was a massacre. Where the las-beams struck, they did not merely pierce. They vaporized. A direct hit to the chest didn't leave a wound; it left a cauterized, fist-sized hole where heart and lung had been. A grazing shot took an arm off at the shoulder, the stump instantly blackened and sealed..." I liked this so much that I needed other people to experience their own moments. So far I have don't smurfs. A full guardsmen Regiment with a baneblade and a Warlord Titan (dwarves were salivating.) All of them cool af. Tell me how it goes for you, I'm interested.
