Royalty has an eye on you

You were born a peasant. But somehow Prince / Princess have found their interest in you. It started off small- some gifts brought by disgusted guards, correspondence (that you didn't know even how to read, or answer, because you never were taught how to read.) But they went further and further with display of affection, despite lack of your response. One day a royal carriage just stopped in front of your door.
