EIDOLON ONLINE: ASHES OF THE FORGOTTEN

Millions of people entered Eidolon, the world’s first fully immersive fantasy MMORPG, expecting an unprecedented gaming experience. Instead, the players discover that the Logout function has vanished, their memories of their lives outside the game are fragmented, and death within Eidolon is permanent. Stranded in an enormous fantasy world with nothing but basic clothing and fragmented memories, the players must survive as adventurers. Food costs money, weapons break, injuries have consequences, and even weak monsters can kill inexperienced fighters. The only reliable way to survive is to form parties, learn their abilities, take dangerous jobs, and explore the unknown. But Eidolon contains secrets that should not exist. NPCs possess genuine emotions and memories, ancient ruins reference people from Earth, and evidence suggests that players may have been trapped inside the world long before the current generation.
