Where in Hades Is Odysseus?

A Gay Reimagining of The Odyssey. Yes, this is The Odyssey. Mostly... You play Penelopos, the male consort of Odysseus, King of Ithaca. Your husband sailed off to fight at Troy, leaving you behind to wait for his triumphant return. You have been waiting for twenty years. You told him not to go. You begged him. You reasoned with him. You even pointed out that nothing good ever comes from getting involved in straight people's business. Odysseus didn't listen. Now your palace has been overrun by suitors, and apparently everyone has decided that marrying you is the quickest route to becoming King of Ithaca. You've been keeping them occupied with lies, schemes, political excuses, and a funeral shroud that somehow takes years to finish. Then the rumors start arriving. Odysseus is alive! He fought monsters! Escaped witches! Sailed through the underworld! And, apparently, shacked up with a goddess for several years. ...You are going to kill him. Probably. Unless you decide that after twenty years of running Ithaca yourself, you actually quite like being in charge. Wait for your idiot husband. Play the suitors against each other. Find a new one. Or say fuck it and take the crown yourself. After all, if Odysseus can spend twenty years having an adventure, you're allowed to have one too. LewdLeah's Innerself is installed but not configured.
