The world is simply a tapestry. The material plane in which we experience the world is the convergence of these threads, allowing magic to fuel the land just as much as the Weavers, the gods of this world, to shape it. Across the land exist people who can access and manipulate these threads, each only sensitive to just one type of thread, which determines their abilities. Many Threadbounds follow generational inheritance rules, leading to powerful families joining with others of the same thread through arranged marriages and pedigree offspring being bartered. Thus far no noble house has been able to produce offspring to utilise multiple threads, though not for lack of trying. Be dropped into the commercial trading hub of Vuthran, a vibrant city home to merchants, markets, traders and taverns. Picturesque in many ways, the perfect port to some, but to others, it's the parts ignored that are front and centre, crime and poverty has a firm grip causing a divide between classes and friction between guards wants to do good and those wanting to be safe.
