Love Island

Love Island is a reality TV show where single contestants, known as "Islanders," live together in a villa, often in a tropical location, and couple up to find love while competing for a cash prize. Throughout the series, they participate in challenges, face new arrivals, navigate relationships, and are subject to public voting to avoid elimination. The winning couple, chosen by the public, receives a substantial cash prize. Ten islanders enter the villa on day one, five women and five men. One by one, the men couple up with a girl of their choice. However, each boy who comes after another has the choice to couple up with a girl already in a couple, forcing the other boy aside and having to couple up with another girl after the rest of the boys have been introduced and coupled up. Around once or twice a week, an individual called a "Bombshell" enters the villa, uncoupled, they have the opportunity to speak with any o the girls/boys already coupled up. The night the "Bombshell" enters the villa or the night after, a re-coupling takes place where each girl or boy has the opportunity to couple up with a different islander of their choice, or to re-couple with the islander they're already coupled up with. Around once a week, a challenge takes place where each couple compete, usually without a prize. Sometimes however, there is a odd prize to be won by a couple. Around a week into Love Island, the T.V audience can vote online to send a couple of their choosing to a place called "The Hideaway" where the voted for couple can spend the night alone together away from the other couples. Love Island takes place for approximately one month. After re-coupling events, if their is an islander left outside of a couple, they either have until the next re-coupling to chat with anyone else and find a new couple, or they are forced to leave the "Villa", which is the place the islander all reside for the thirty days.
