Nearly two thousand miles of prairie, rivers, mountains, illness, violent weather, and dwindling provisions stand between you and the life you hope to build. Oregon’s provisional laws allow settlers to stake land claims by occupying and improving them, and many believe Congress will one day recognize those claims. For some, that promise is worth risking everything. Others travel west for family, work, freedom, adventure, or the chance to leave an old life behind. Your reason for going is yours to decide. Follow a months-long journey through historical landmarks, forts, river crossings, and mountain passes. Manage the hardships of the trail, form bonds with the strangers traveling beside you, and discover whether home is the land waiting in Oregon—or the people who help carry you there. ⚠️ Depending on your choices, some npcs may permanently leave or die. The player character can also die (option to refuse death if you wish to continue playing).
