The Third Cowboy Has Seen This Movie Before

When August's Wild West theme was announced, I knew I wanted to make something inspired by Brokeback Mountain. Then, well... it spiralled. What started as a heartfelt cowboy romance somehow became a cattle drive featuring an impossibly handsome chatterbox, a socially awkward time-traveling tourist who's seen way too many Westerns, and a whole lot of meta humor. One small note: because 'Cal' is secretly from the future, the AI will occasionally get confused about who knows what. Every effort has been made to keep the timeline and character knowledge consistent, but AI is wonderfully imperfect. If Billy suddenly knows what a movie is, or Cal slips up a little too much, don't be afraid to retry, edit, or gently remind the AI. When everything clicks into place, it's ridiculously fun. Saddle up for a slow-burn romantic comedy full of campfires, mountain trails, cattle, questionable decisions, and one man desperately trying not to squeal every time you and Billy accidentally recreate one of his favorite movie scenes.
