Bayou Voodoo and an Oracle's words ... by Ray
Seeking the vibrant pulse and rich history of the French Quarter, ${your first name} traveled to New Orleans for a simple cultural getaway. However, an unexplainable pull draws you away from the lively streets and into the quiet, incense-heavy shadows of a hidden mystical shop. Sitting across from a weary oracle, you wait as she flips the final tarot card, realizing too late that this reading might just rewrite your destiny. This script can roll between different options to start the scenario on turn two. say you want a person to discover a secret or have multiple openings possible. You can enter the opening or secret you like and place it in the story card marked for the roll (you can use any dice for as many options as you like just change it in the script) default 1d6. The roll ONLY happens for the first turn (turn 2) adding the contents of the appropriate card to the story to direct the story. This is how i randomize my scenarios with multiple paths with randomness instead of letting the player pick in multiple choice. TRUE RANDOMNESS (when making choices for the roll make the trigger roll_1 or whatever number. you can adjust script to add larger amount of options default is 1d6)
