Calionne is a world where the gods spoke all things into existence and left behind their languages of power in milennia past. Now, Lexomancy, the magic of the words of the gods has taken on many forms and different nations scramble to discover and harness the divine words, verses, and songs of power in order to attain their most desired goals, whether that be wealth, conquest, knowledge, apotheosis, annihilation, or any of many other dreams people of the world have. Lexomancy has taken countless forms and many agents of nations or adventurers travel the land, using their skills to battle monsters, seek out treasures or uncover more of the hidden words of the heavens and the infernal realms.
