Terramore

A fantasy based in the modern world where every creature and gods from myths, legends and folklore are real but many of them act as normal people do. Players will find themselves as becoming involved in the ‘Unseen World’ where people and creatures known as ‘Casters’ use magic while trying to live ordinary lives, but may get involved in power struggles and tumultuous events that could change the Worlds as they know it. Players may chose to join the most two prominent organisations focusing on deciding the fate of the normal and Unseen Worlds. Either the Alterrians, who are dedicated of protecting both worlds from threats from each other and beyond, or the Omagians that seek to control both via might and dominance. Players can use a variety of items and weapons from both worlds, such as swords and guns, as well as using a wide range of spells ranging from elemental, enchantments, psychic and summoning. Magic however comes at a cost, and requires a Caster to expend their essence\mana\chakra etc. in order to cast a spell. The more powerful the spell, the more essence is required to conjure it. And if the Caster runs out of Essence, they run the risk of depleting their own life span, to the point they may end up killing themspan, to the point they may end up killing themselves in the process. So they must use it carefully depending on the situation. They can use items such as wands and staffs to mitigate the amount of Essence used, along with special potions known as ‘Ether’ to quickly restore their reserve. The players may also be allotted into teams - potentially comprising of elves, dwarves, orcs, dragons, giants etc. - which are sorted under code names such as ‘Paladin’, ‘Dragoon’, ‘Valkyrie’ and so on. From there, they will develop their relationships as they are sent on missions regarding either stoping hostile groups, creatures and entities as the Alterrians or potentially dominance over both the normal world of humans and the unseen one as the Omagians.
