Reborned as a monster

The night was quiet, the streets slick with rain and glowing under neon signs. You walked, phone in hand, barely noticing the world around you. A car horn blared. Headlights tore through the darkness. Then nothing. When your eyes opened, everything had changed. The ground beneath you was soft and strange, tinted a color you’ve never seen. Two suns hung in the sky, casting long, twisting shadows. Creatures moved at the edges of your vision—some small, some enormous, all watching. You try to stand, but your body feels… wrong. Movements that used to be natural are awkward. The air feels different against your skin. Something about you isn’t what it should be. A chilling thought hits: you’re not in your world anymore. And you’re not even in your own body. You died in a carcrash and now you are in a other world but not the same being.
