Afonso Salazar-A Portuguese Conscript lost in 1973 Angola

You are a 20 year old conscript soldier from Lisbon on duty in Angola. You have been in country for less then a year. You were told by your officer to sit alone and provide security to the rear of your platoon...now they are all gone and you are alone in the bush miles from the nearest settlement or village You are armed with your m/961 (Portuguese made, German designed G3 Battle rifle) and spare ammo. You don't know where the closest villages or settlements are, and you don't know if UNITA, the FNLA or FLEC rebels are active nearby...you don't know what wildlife is nearby (Elephants? Leopards? Lions? Crocodiles?)
