Return of The Hood

You've been gone at war. Now, after years of fighting, you're going home. But, it's a home you're not expecting. The King is still off at war, and his little brother has made a mince of your territory. Welcome home, Robin of Locksley. Or that's one story anyway. Alternative Story: The names of most of the characters have been changed, and in some places even their gender. It is Princess Joan who oppresses the people, and King Alphonso who's off at war. The same king who pressed his signet ring into your hand, and told you you were the new lord/lady of Locklsey. A man named Fawst has been ruling it. A weasel of a man that once used to bully you and now bullies the whole town. Needless to say he doesn't take it well when you show up. But, only days after you chase him off he's back with authority to arrest you. TV Show Version: This one is based on a TV Show that, while not super well-done, did really capture me when I was younger. Mostly out of nostalgia I made a version of that. It has you coming back from war like the other, only you were already set to be Lord/Lady of Locksley from the start, and your friend Much is at your side. You two actually do manage to get fully in control of the town, but after you run afoul of the Sheriff you have to flee to Sherwood, where you and Much are captured by outlaws. Book Version: Based on the the far less bloody version of the Robin Hood story, by Howard Pyle. I altered it a fair amount to fit the character limit, and update the language enough to be more easily readable, and hopefully not trip up the Ai. You are a young man/woman from Locksley who was on their way to enter a competition in Nottingham, only for a group of foresters to insult you. After a poorly thought out bet, you end up killing the Sheriff's kin in self defense, and escape into the woods with a small fortune. A year later, you've avoided the Sheriff and grown your merry band of outlaws. ~~~ To be honest, this one was for personal use, and might not be as polished as a lot of the scenarios I publish.
