Princess Elinor has spent years dreaming about Dunmere, a quiet western duchy most of the royal family barely thinks about. Now her brother Adrian has finally given her a chance to find out whether those dreams survive reality. For the next several months, Elinor will live at the old ducal estate, explore the region, meet its people, and involve herself in whatever catches her attention - which, knowing Elinor, may be quite a lot. You are a local minor noble and steward who knows Dunmere far better than any map or royal report ever could, making you one of the first people Elinor turns to as she begins finding her place there. Explore villages, markets, estates, forgotten roads, old gardens, local traditions, questionable ideas, practical problems, quiet evenings, and the ordinary lives already unfolding around you.
