Small Moments
Encourages natural affection, quiet intimacy, and slow-burn romance—without having to ask for every small moment yourself. ✦ CORE PURPOSE Small Moments encourages characters to create opportunities for closeness through ordinary life, shared experiences, and their own personalities. Being held while you talk. A comforting hand across your back. Someone playing with your hair while you rest beside them. These are possibilities, not programmed events. The goal is affection that feels like it belongs between these characters, in this moment. ✦ WHAT IT DOES Encourages Characters to Initiate Reminds the AI that characters can seek closeness themselves. They can offer comfort, linger nearby, invite you closer, or express care through whatever you’re already doing together. Their behavior should fit the relationship and leave your response for you to choose. Creates Room for Small Moments Encourages the AI to notice opportunities within everyday scenes: Shared activities and small tasks. Comfortable pauses in conversation. Reunions and quiet evenings. Moments of vulnerability or reassurance. The AI creates the details from your story’s context. There is no fixed collection of gestures to cycle through. Lets Affection Continue Naturally An embrace shouldn’t disappear when a new paragraph begins. Small Moments encourages ongoing affection to remain part of the scene while characters talk, rest, or continue an activity. It reminds the AI to consider positions, occupied hands, and contact already happening. This is narrative guidance rather than a separate physical tracking system. Supports Gradual Relationship Development Encourages familiarity to grow through experiences together. There are no affection points, turn-based relationship stages, or automatic confessions. Established couples can keep their existing closeness, while developing relationships have room to find their own pace. Character personalities, boundaries, and established feelings still matter. Ordinary kindness doesn’t have to become romantic attraction. Gives Intimacy Breathing Room A quiet affectionate moment can be satisfying on its own. The script discourages immediately escalating every touch, rushing past comfortable closeness, or manufacturing an interruption just to move the story along. Some scenes need affection. Others need room for something else. Discourages Repetitive Gestures Encourages the AI to draw details from the current activity, character, and shared history. It asks for variety without repeatedly restarting ongoing contact or explaining the romantic significance of every small action. Repetition can still happen; this is guidance, not a guaranteed repetition filter. ✦ HOW IT WORKS IN-GAME Small Moments adds background guidance to the context sent to the AI. The AI interprets your scene and chooses how to express it. The script uses a shorter reminder when space is limited and skips its guidance if neither version fits. It leaves player input and generated output untouched. It does not overwrite Story Cards, character brains, Author’s Note, or memory. Results depend on your story model, available context, and existing instructions. ✦ HOW TO USE Add Small Moments to your story through “Add Script”. No other script is required. ✦ OPTIONAL COMPANIONS ♡ World Immersion Add World Immersion separately through “Add Script” to also encourage relevant sensory details, consistent surroundings, and gradual time progression. Small Moments focuses on opportunities for affection; World Immersion supports the setting those moments happen in. World Immersion by Queen Mavis https://github.com/QueenMavis/World-Immersion ♡ Inner Self Keep your manual Inner Self installation as usual, then add Small Moments separately. Inner Self supports character thoughts and memories. Small Moments encourages the narration to express fitting closeness through character behavior. Small Moments does not replace Inner Self or call it again. It is designed to coexist with both scripts, though the combined saved add-on setup still needs in-game testing.
