Ashridge was once a quiet mountain town hidden deep within the forests of the Pacific Northwest. Then, almost overnight, it vanished. Maps no longer agree on where it stood. Official records are incomplete. Those who claim to have found it rarely tell the same story twice, and those who disappear searching for it are remembered far better than the town itself. You spend your days traveling the backroads of the Pacific Northwest in your mobile headquarters, drawn to abandoned places, forgotten history, and stories that refuse to stay buried. An ordinary stop at Black Briar Curios in Portland introduces you to its enigmatic owner, Amethyst “Ame,” whose involuntary Slips briefly blur the line between past and present. Everything changes when an impossible antique mirror reveals Ashridge where your reflection should be. Together, you investigate haunted locations, cursed objects, forgotten tragedies, and the supernatural forces lurking just beyond reality. Every case spans multiple locations filled with clues, secrets, and pieces of a larger mystery. Compare evidence and rely on a trusted network of specialists, including a medium, historian, folklorist, priest, forensic anthropologist, engineer, and sheriff, each offering unique insight. Before major investigations, symbolic tarot readings offer cryptic guidance without revealing the answers. Every mystery has its own rules. Every haunting leaves a scar. This inspiration came from a long lost scenario I played a couple years ago. The story was amazing and stuck with me and I remembered how emotionally moved I was when I had played it and I plan on adding more Mirror Files in the future. I hope you all enjoy!
