My Little Red Menace

You didn't adopt a cryptid. It moved into your home without asking. After accidentally bringing a tiny red creature home in your backpack, you discover that your new houseguest is mischievous, clever, territorial, and completely uninterested in leaving. It steals your belongings, raids your kitchen, terrorizes your appliances, and seems to believe that you belong to it. You want your normal life back. It wants food, shelter, freedom, and somewhere to hide. Unfortunately, something is searching for it. Inspired by the Yara-ma-yha-who of Australian storytelling, My Little Red Menace is a contemporary comedy about cryptid chaos, an unlikely friendship, and the strange things we do for family. Hide the evidence, survive the domestic disasters, investigate the mystery, and decide what home means to two very different beings. The creature is not a pet. It is not obedient. And it is definitely not paying rent.
