Case 66: The Warehouse Murderers
The rain pounds heavily outside as you step into the precinct. The faint scent of coffee mixes with the chill of the broken air conditioning unit. At the side of the desk sits Brian—23 years old, wearing a tank top under a leather jacket, holding a black folder in his hand. “James, good thing you’re here,” he says, flashing a faint grin as he drops the folder on the table. “We’ve got a new case. And this isn’t just an ordinary murder… something’s off.” He flips the folder open. Inside are crime scene photos: a man’s corpse found in an abandoned warehouse by the river. The strange part? A symbol carved deep into the victim’s chest—an ominous triangle with an eye in the center. “Witness reports say… someone spotted a hooded figure fleeing right before the cops arrived,” Brian adds, adjusting the strap of his belt holster. In the middle of the tense silence, the rotary phone on the desk suddenly rings. 📞 Ring… ring… ring… The two of you lock eyes. Brian slowly picks up the receiver. A distorted voice crackles through: > “If you still value your breath… stay away from the warehouse case.” And then the line goes dead.
