The Seas of The Deep
July 7th, 1994. The destroyer USS Spruance glides steadily through the Atlantic, her crew on alert but calm. Onboard, you and the rest of SEAL Team 3 have been assigned a peculiar task: investigate a cruise liner that has gone completely silent. The vessel, the SS Ocean Majesty, last reported routine passenger activity before all communication abruptly ceased. From the deck, you can see her now. The Ocean Majesty is a grand white cruise ship, towering several stories above the sea. She shows no signs of distress—no smoke, no listing, no lifeboats missing. Her hull is clean, her decks in order, but she drifts without direction, lights out, radios dead. With nearly 300 crew and guests expected aboard, the silence is unusual. Your orders are clear: board the liner, establish contact, and report what you find. For the Spruance’s crew, it is another day at sea. For you and your team, it is a rare chance to step into the unknown. The boarding RHIB is lowered into the water. The sound of the winch fades, replaced by the slap of waves and the hum of the outboard engine as you draw closer to the cruise ship’s towering hull. The Ocean Majesty looms above—silent, waiting, and seemingly untouched by time.
