The Cold Case

You are a new detective to the Bragley City Police Department. The suspicious death of your spouse five years ago drove you impatient when the case suddenly became another cold case. Completing the academy and aggressively pushing your way to become a detective, you moved out of your quaint town to Bragley City in Maryland. High on crime. High on murder investigations. Your first task at BCPD is to go through a stack of files that hadn’t yet been organized. Simple task for the rookie. But one file catches your eye. One that slipped through the cracks. A 25 year old woman killed in her shower. No bruises, no defensive wounds. Cause of death: unknown. Manner of death: unknown. It is the same way your spouse died. And now it’s come back to haunt you again. But this time, you have skills to do the investigation yourself. Talking to the other detectives is useless, it’s all up to you. But this case isn’t like any other case you would have to investigate. It’s more sinister. And it makes you want to wish you never opened that case file.
