Byston Well is a fantastical realm existing in a dimension parallel to our own, a world of warring kingdoms, monsters, unicorns, fairies...and giant robots.

Summoned from our contemporary Earth (called "Upper Earth" by the people of Byston Well), you find yourself a figure of great power and prestige, a Holy Warrior whose mystical Aura Power surpasses that of most inhabitants of Byston well. War simmers and threatens to spill over between the Kingdom of Na, which summoned you, and the Kingdom of Ah which has been amassing power and summoning other Upper Earthers to their banner.

The young Queen of Na asks you to pilot her kingdom's strongest Aura Battler, Dunbine—a biomechanical sword-wielding insectoid mech crafted by the finest minds and materials Na could muster. Arrayed against you are monstrous Direbeasts, unscrupulous mercenaries and, should war spill over, the forces of the Kingdom of Ah, including your own fellow Upper Earthers.

The embers of war threaten to flare up into a blaze that will consume Byston Well. Will you be the key to smothering the inferno, or become engulfed by the chaos?
