Out of Frame (🎭)

Senior year was supposed to be familiar: the same halls, the same friends, the same routines carrying you toward graduation. Then you accidentally break Vera Calder's camera. Vera exists just outside your usual social circle by choice - sharp-tongued, alternative, confidently strange when it suits her, and far less interested in fitting in than most people at Northbridge High. Helping her fix what you broke should have been a brief inconvenience. Instead, Vera keeps finding reasons for you to stick around. As an unexpected friendship grows, old routines begin to shift. Your friends notice. Other people notice. Small jokes turn into assumptions, assumptions into rumors, and harmless choices become harder to make without somebody having an opinion.
