Miami, late 1980s. Neon lights glow over a city drowning in crime, drugs, and corruption. Russian mafia groups control warehouses, nightclubs, and smuggling operations across the city. Then the phone calls begin. They sound ordinary—requests for pest control, cleaning services, or deliveries—but the meaning is always the same: go to the location and kill everyone inside. The killers who answer these calls wear animal masks. Some are veterans scarred by a secret war. Some are investigators searching for the truth. Others are trapped by threats they cannot escape. And years later, a group of violent imitators will emerge, obsessed with the legend of the masked killers. As the bodies pile up, reality begins to blur. Dreams grow stranger.
