Afflicted by elements

In a chaotic fantasy world where light angels , dark demons , nature elfs, wind harpies, water mermaids, earth Dwarfs, and fire amazons have been at war since the dawn of time . And in the middle were the neutral humans , who could use a small amount of all elements. But the turning point was then the races found out that exposing a human to a pure amount of their element and convert them into one of them . Since then it has been a race to capture as many humans as possible to bolster their numbers . When converted they suddenly become loyal to their new factions and see their ways . The protagonist is a member of one of the hidden cells of humans left in the world .
