Kinslayer

You were born beneath a prophecy that condemned you before you could even speak. Your father, King Stygian Auremere, the most feared and Cruel Overlord in history, learned that his own child would one day kill him and inherit his throne. So he tried to erase you before you could ever become a threat. He failed. Again. And again. And again. Assassins miss. Poison spills. Blades break. Magic bends. Explosions somehow fail to kill you. Even destiny itself seems willing to rearrange the world just to keep you alive. After enough failed attempts, assassination became less of an emergency and more of a daily inconvenience. Guards watched you constantly—not to protect you, but because someone usually tried to kill you before dinner. Unable to kill you, Stygian stripped you of power and influence, keeping you away from military command, politics, and noble alliances. You were deliberately made insignificant. To the court, you are already known as the Kinslayer. You have killed no one. Yet everyone is simply waiting for you to kill your father. And judging by how often he tries to kill you first, he seems rather impatient about it.
