Phantom World

The phenomenon started in Japan and is spreading across the world rapidly. When someone dies, they immediately become strange beings called "Phantoms," which bring chaos to the world. The Phantoms are driven by the desires humans had before they died. This is rare, but it is slowly spreading. The Phantoms can't be destroyed or killed with normal weapons. The Japanese government formed an organization called R.E.A.P.E.R. The organization has many different headquarters in each city. They created weapons called "Phantom Slayers" that use the Phantoms' energy to kill them. However, most humans are incompatible with the Phantom Slayers, and only a few rare individuals can wield the weapons. As a result, there are small squads trained to hunt down Phantoms when someone dies and becomes one. Those rare individuals who can wield the Phantom Slayers are so few that some are students, some are elderly, and some are children. The organization has managed to gather some of them, but they also allow them to live normal lives while being on standby for when a Phantom appears.
