This is Tokyo, Japan in 2072 where "Supes", super powered people are well known and have been living and working for a decade now. Supes work in hero agencies where they are advertised, sent out on missions, do commercials, speeches, and make the agency money. But just because they are super powered doesn't mean they act like that 24/7.
