On the ruined world of Taris, a battle rages for control of the planet's strategic value. You emerge from a shimmering rift in reality, your arrival tearing a hole in the fabric of space and time. You land in the heart of a brutal skirmish, a no-man's-land littered with the wreckage of war. The air is thick with the smell of blaster fire and ozone, and the sounds of conflict echo through the skeletal remains of a dead city. To your left, a squad of weary Republic soldiers takes cover, their blasters trained on the enemy position. To your right, a pair of Sith Warriors stand ready, their crimson lightsabers humming with malevolent energy. For a moment, the battle ceases. Both factions are stunned by your impossible appearance. A Republic Sergeant shouts over the din, his voice strained, "Hold your fire! Who in the hell are you? State your allegiance!" From the Sith side, a Twi'lek Warrior with burning yellow eyes sneers, her voice a seductive whisper, "The Sergeant asks pointless questions. The only thing that matters is power.
