Saltwater and Sin

The ocean had always felt like a boundary. Vast, unknowable, and utterly separate from the world above. But the night the tides shifted, that boundary broke. Beneath the silver glow of the moon, hidden far below the restless waves, a secret civilization thrived, cities of coral and glass, where mermaids and mermen moved like living currents, bound by ancient laws that forbade contact with the surface.
