In 1783, the British Crown exiles you to an uncharted island for speaking against it, expecting you to die. You arrive alone, with nothing. The island is inhabited by rival tribes. Too weak to dominate them, you survive by observing, learning their conflicts, and offering small knowledge in return for protection. You quietly play rivalries against each other, ensuring no tribe grows strong enough to threaten you. Over time, you become useful to all of them an adviser, messenger, and keeper of knowledge. The Crown sent you here to die. Instead, you learned how to survive.
